Position Description
The Warehouse Associate will play a critical role during the design and construction phases of U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center (NTC) in Atlanta, Georgia. Once the NTC is fully open and functioning, the Warehouse Associate will have oversight of the warehouse functions for the NTC which includes inventory, shipping and receiving functional areas that support the NTC including the equipment, events and related departments on the property.
Primary Responsibilities
National Training Center Operating Period and Ongoing Duties at Temporary Warehouse
Inventory Management
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock levels
- Ensures proper storage and organization of goods within the warehouse
Shipping and Receiving
- Understanding the receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Must be able to handle loading and unloading of trucks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Preparing shipping documents and labels
- Review, inspect and observe all areas of warehouse operations at the NTC for compliance with applicable policies, laws, codes, regulations, ordinances and directives
- Facility crew to fulfill events, meetings, tour and other guest activities
- Work with sporting staff to ensure equipment items are prepared and maintained to expected levels
Order Processing
- Processing teams orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing and shipping
- Working with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Warehouse Operations
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including equipment maintenance and safety protocols
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and space utilization
Other Duties
- Ensuring all daily mail packages are delivered to the appropriate place
- Other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Be able to stand for one period of time.
- Maintain a clean environment within the warehouse
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: at least 2 years of experience in warehouse with forklift operations
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of warehouse operations, including maintenance, and inventory control
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, teams, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure that operations run smoothly
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using management software, scheduling tools, and other relevant technology
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- General knowledge of soccer
- Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
- Must have a positive attitude.
Desired Qualifications
- Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends on an ad-hoc basis

Department Overview
The Integrated Performance Support (IPS) department serves as the Federation’s performance function providing a unified, multidisciplinary approach that advances player availability, readiness, and competitive advantage on the global stage.
Position Description
The Data Scientist is primarily responsible for developing models and insights on top of both 2D player tracking and 3D skeletal player tracking data. The role will involve modeling player movement and working with both Coaching and Integrated Performance Support staff to understand this player movement in a tactical, performance and medical context. They will be required to have a basic understanding of modelling with large data sets and a basic understanding of human and object movement principles.
Primary Responsibilities
Player Movement Modeling & Applied Analytics
- Develop advanced models of player movement within a soccer-specific and competition-driven context.
- Translate 2D tracking and event data into tactical and interaction-based performance insights.
- Advance the Federation’s capabilities in 3D skeletal tracking and spatial modeling of player interactions.
- Model off-ball movement, defensive contribution, possession value, and contextual performance metrics.
- Integrate biomechanics and physics principles to enhance the interpretation of human movement patterns.
Integrated Performance Collaboration
- Partner with technical staff to contextualize movement data within tactical frameworks and game models.
- Collaborate with Sports Science and Performance staff to integrate tracking insights into load monitoring and readiness strategies.
- Work alongside Performance Medicine to support injury risk modeling, return-to-play benchmarks, and injury mitigation frameworks.
- Contribute to cross-disciplinary case management and shared performance planning processes.
Data Engineering & Productionization
- Work closely with Data Engineering to design storage solutions for 3D skeletal tracking data and deploy scalable, production-ready models on large and complex datasets.
- Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and performance reliability within high-stakes competitive environments.

Performance Innovation & Research

Position Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the National Training Center’s building systems. This hands-on role serves as the technical lead for all core infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems. Working within a small facilities team, the maintenance technician responds to work requests and performs maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

Building Systems & Technical Operations
- Perform hands-on operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building automation systems.
- Monitor system performance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and occupant comfort.

Position Description
The Office Receptionist is the primary front-of-house representative for U.S. Soccer’s Atlanta area headquarters. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality and professional reception services, managing incoming communications and visitors, and supporting daily front-desk operations to ensure a welcoming, secure, and efficient workplace.
Primary Responsibilities
Reception & Visitor Services
- Serve as the first point of contact: greet visitors, verify appointments, assist with visitor badges, and direct guests to the appropriate staff or meeting rooms.
- Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism; manage multi-line phone system.
- Maintain an attractive, orderly reception area and keep lobby materials current.
- Manage visitor sign-in/out logs and maintain confidentiality and security protocols.
- Coordinate meeting room readiness with Office Coordinator/Facilities/IT (AV setup, seating, signage).
- Welcome tours and assist the Office Coordinator and Manager in the tour program as needed.
Front-Desk Operations & Communications
- Monitor and respond to general reception inboxes and voicemail; escalate urgent messages as needed.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages to staff in the HQ.
- Communicate with Office Coordinator to track and maintain office signage, visitor amenities, and front-desk supplies.
- Maintain key/tracking logs for conference rooms, equipment, and shared spaces.

Administrative Support
- Manage and prioritize the General Manager’s calendar (i.e. schedule meetings, cancellations, balancing the load of each day).

- Assist with simple expense reporting, purchase requests for reception supplies, and invoice routing.
- Support onboarding by preparing visitor access and coordinating first-day welcoming for new hires.

- Provide back-up coverage for hospitality tasks during events, including check-in coordination.
