Soccer Forward Overview
Soccer Forward, U.S. Soccer’s 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup legacy initiative, is dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities through the most accessible sport in America. Soccer Forward will be partner focused and driven and staff will engage with key stakeholders in the world of soccer, such as FIFA, Concacaf, NWSL, and MLS, as well as with U.S. Soccer member organizations.
The Soccer Forward team will create innovative and thoughtful strategies on how Soccer Forward can contribute to U.S. Soccer’s sponsors, media partners and donors. The team will organize, engage, manage and develop relationships with key community and charitable partners, particularly at a national and global level.

The post holder will be responsible for developing relationships with community partners, spotting opportunities for collaboration with and between community partners, supporting crowd sourcing of best practice, and helping to ensure Soccer Forward’s relationships with community partners are well coordinated, productive, and equitable for everyone involved. The role will span our Soccer Everywhere for Everyone initiative, and the Kang Women’s Institute (KWI).
Primary Responsibilities
- Help to cultivate and manage relationships with community organizations across the soccer ecosystem, working to understand their interests, needs, what they can offer to the wider movement, and opportunities to collaborate.
- Manage a community partner database to support the Soccer Forward team to coordinate conversations and collaborations with community partners, helping ensure joined up working and effective communication.
- Research new tools and resources from across the soccer ecosystem that can be showcased on the Soccer Forward Resource Hub and our range of Toolkits. Support communication with potential contributors to develop an equitable sense of partnership and to secure contributions.
- Write content for the Resource Hub and Toolkits that helps users engage with the resources and apply them in their context.
- Support coordination between KWI and SEFE programming to help ensure we maximise the value of our output, and our relationships with the wider community.
- Help drive engagement with the Resource Hub and Toolkits, alongside colleagues in the MarComms and Product Teams, developing strategies to ensure resources are being used.
- Help establish feedback loops with the soccer ecosystem to support us to continually develop our programs to meet needs, and to support storytelling and monitoring, evaluation and learning.
- Support colleagues across the broader Soccer Forward team to constantly be alert to potential collaboration with community partners, helping to champion our belief in collective working.
- General writing and administrative support for the KWI and wider SF team, as required.

The Integrated Performance Support (IPS) department serves as the Federation’s performance function providing a unified, multidisciplinary approach that advances player availability, readiness, and competitive advantage on the global stage.
Position Description
The Data Scientist is primarily responsible for developing models and insights on top of both 2D player tracking and 3D skeletal player tracking data. The role will involve modeling player movement and working with both Coaching and Integrated Performance Support staff to understand this player movement in a tactical, performance and medical context. They will be required to have a basic understanding of modelling with large data sets and a basic understanding of human and object movement principles.
Primary Responsibilities
Player Movement Modeling & Applied Analytics
- Develop advanced models of player movement within a soccer-specific and competition-driven context.
- Translate 2D tracking and event data into tactical and interaction-based performance insights.
- Advance the Federation’s capabilities in 3D skeletal tracking and spatial modeling of player interactions.
- Model off-ball movement, defensive contribution, possession value, and contextual performance metrics.
- Integrate biomechanics and physics principles to enhance the interpretation of human movement patterns.
Integrated Performance Collaboration
- Partner with technical staff to contextualize movement data within tactical frameworks and game models.

Position Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the National Training Center’s building systems. This hands-on role serves as the technical lead for all core infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems. Position Description
The Office Receptionist is the primary front-of-house representative for U.S. Soccer’s Atlanta area headquarters. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality and professional reception services, managing incoming communications and visitors, and supporting daily front-desk operations to ensure a welcoming, secure, and efficient workplace.
Primary Responsibilities
Reception & Visitor Services
- Serve as the first point of contact: greet visitors, verify appointments, assist with visitor badges, and direct guests to the appropriate staff or meeting rooms.
- Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism; manage multi-line phone system.
- Maintain an attractive, orderly reception area and keep lobby materials current.
- Manage visitor sign-in/out logs and maintain confidentiality and security protocols.
- Coordinate meeting room readiness with Office Coordinator/Facilities/IT (AV setup, seating, signage).
- Welcome tours and assist the Office Coordinator and Manager in the tour program as needed.
Front-Desk Operations & Communications
